Who We Are
The Philippines-Australia Human Resource and Organisational Development Facility (PAHRODF) is the Australian Government’s flagship program for supporting human resource management, organisational development, and institutional change in the Philippines.
Under the renewed 2012-2017 Statement of Commitment between the Philippines and Australia, the Australian Government, through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, pledges its support by helping local organisations become more efficient in implementing their policies and programs.
It does so by offering a variety of short-term training programs and advisory support when necessary, and via long-term post-graduate scholarships for study in Australia. All are a means to make partner organisations more effective in delivering services while forging an even stronger link between Australia and the Philippines.
In 2010 the Philippines-Australia Human Resource and Organisational Development Facility (PAHRODF) was launched as a five-year (2010-2015) program of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade with the task of providing complementary support to the Australian Government's initiatives under the Statement of Commitment.
As the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade's flagship program for improving Human Resource Management and Organisational Development, PAHRODF provides a range of strategic interventions to address the organisational development needs of select Philippine organisations.
Public, non-profit, and private organisations in the Philippines are selected as partners for their capability to deliver shared development priorities as reflected in the countries’ Statement of Commitment.
